The canal

A winter canal lined with leafless trees that reflect in the still, icy water like an image in a mirror. On each bank, on the towpath, we see the trace left day after day by the solid percheron that tows the barges. The photograph was taken of a small bridge on the back of a donkey that spanned the canal, we notice that the slope on the left rises slightly. Pigment print numbered 24 X 30 cm. Made in our parisian workshop by our master shooter on paper 260g archival ultrasmooth.
