Louis XVI desk in mahogany

Louis XVI style flat desk in mahogany and speckled mahogany, early twentieth century era. Brown leather top and veneer frame surrounded by a brass ingot. Front opening with four drawers, the one on the right forming a single drawer. Bronze ring handles and guest side with false drawers. The uprights are rough-grooved, bronze rings and tapered feet ending in hooves. Waxed finish. Work in the taste of the eighteenth century. Note old stains on the leather (see photos). H 75 X w 140 X d 80 cm / h in the middle below the belt 60 cm.
