Elegant crystal triangular vase made in the 1950s by the Swedish art glassworks workshop Strombergshyttan, signed Stromberg and numbered B868. Clean and timeless lines, thick crystal, glacier blue silver color typical of Stromberg glass and bevelled, slanted and softened edges: a very beautiful and heavy piece of this great Scandinavian house. Strombergshyttan (which was called its creation in 1876 Linfors) was taken over by Gerda and Edvard Stromberg in 1933. The glassworks were known for its thick-bodied creations, bold straight cuts and the characteristic blue crystal color that evokes ice. The vase still has its original label on one of its faces. Signature engraved at the tip under the base "Stromberg", numbered "B868" (last photo). Height: 20, 5 cm - Neck width: 8, 5 cm - Base width: 5 cm - Thicken of the crystal top of the vase: 1 cm - Weight: 1, 410 kg. 20th century - 1950s. Very nice condition, no sparkle. Note: a few rare and discreet micro-scratches, related to use, visible when the vase is held in the light. A tiny chip in the inner part of the cervix, very little visible to the naked eye. Sending fast and neat, in parcel followed Colissimo or Point Relay.
