Vintage cider jug in Breton faience from Argoat - Gourin Brittany

The authenticity and charm of Breton ceramics. I am selling this superb vintage cider (or water) jug made of authentic Breton faience, from the brand Gourin, model "Argoat". This piece features a beautiful ochre/orange amber hue enhanced by a glossy glaze. It is adorned with hand-painted brown graphic decorations: geometric friezes surrounding traditional plant and floral motifs. Viewed from above, its spout offers a stunning wavy and elegant profile. The underside of the piece is hand-stamped under the glaze with the handwritten mention "Argoat Gourin Bretagne". Collection in person is possible within 20 km of Amiens.
