Antique sideboard from a medieval chest

This carved oak sideboard was made with elements of an ancient authentic medieval chest. We recognize the napkin fold patterns of the period and the chest fittings have been integrated into the furniture. This sideboard will mark your interior with its originality and will give a lot of charm to a cozy country interior. It has been painted and weathered to give it a current look and the green colored interior will highlight beautiful old crockery in a kitchen or dining room, or books and pretty trinkets in a living room. Note the flower-shaped drawer handles, the sculpted pediment face and the mesh doors. Its somewhat narrow dimensions make it easy to accommodate.
