Wrought iron coat rack early 20th century old patina

The coat rack is in perfect condition. This is a very beautiful example of authentic popular art, the object having been forged by hand, by a craftsman, in the first half of the 20th century. The coat rack has retained its magnificent original patina. The paint, which is worn by use on the edges and protruding parts, reveals the metal in places, which gives it a crazy charm. It was waxed with natural beeswax to fix the patina and protect it. The plate which serves as the base of the coat rack is pierced with three holes, which allow it to be fixed to the wall, or to a door for example. Mounting hardware is not included with the coat rack. Unique artisanal piece, french popular art from the very beginning of the 20th century.
