Neck in rosewood marquetry of various shades, opening through two curved doors on a storage with 3 compartments. The notch is surmounted by a thick gray marble of saint anne and is stamped by the master cabinetmaker pierre fléchy. Pierre fléchy is a master cabinetmaker of the 18th century. He produces high quality furniture and is a great artist of marquetry. Born in 1715, pierre fléchy works in the faubourg saint-antoine in paris, the central district of the production of talented cabinetmakers of the eighteenth century. Like his confreres, he produced mainly dressers, secretaries and desks, but also notches. He obtained his master's degree in paris in 1756.
