1970's Adjustable Architects desk lamp

This bright red adjustable lamp was designed and produced in the 1970’s czechoslovakia. This lamp can be fixed to the edge of the table which gives the light extra stability. The lamp can be adjusted in many directions and angles which make this piece a perfect light for either drawing or reading. The shade is a bright red colour. In contrast, the inside of the lampshade is painted white and some parts of the support rods holding the whole structure are silver coloured. Particulary nice detail are the two flat steel rounded parts with red colour in the middle for adjusting the lamp. The on/off switch is located on the top of the lampshade. Despite being produced in 1970's, this lamp design is extremely contemporary. This piece is in good vintage condition. There are some parts where the red paint peeled off and some minimal wear. All parts (including the switch, the bulb fitting, cord and the european plug) are original and fully functional.
