"Grinda" sofa bed, designed by Leif Alring for IKEA (mid 1980s) An iconic model of IKEA design from the 1980s, the Grinda stands out for its versatility. It features a separation between the bed and seating, with a backrest and armrests made of polyurethane foam. Comfort and flexibility in a vintage design piece. The back cushions, held in place by discreet straps, can be easily detached and used as pillows once the sofa is unfolded. In excellent condition, with the exception of two small snags (see photos) that justify its price. Dimensions: Length 193 cm / Depth 84 cm / Seat height 36 cm. Bed dimensions: 168 x 193 cm. Upholstery: quilted matte black Hallsta fabric in a polyester/cotton blend, removable and machine washable at 40°C.
