Pyrite stoneware flower spike vase circa 1950/60, zoomorphic, decorated with a rooster-type bird. Pyrite stoneware is a high-fire technique producing this speckled metallic enamel effect. Typical of french stoneware from morvan, puisaye. Hand-shaped and hand-carved, the flower spike has a rounded base, and in its center sits a sculpted bird. In the style of dieulefit and jacques pouchain. Monogrammed piece, on the heel in the mass, I have not identified the artist. Very good condition dimensions: diameter 11 cm X 17 cm high.
