Frank Ligtelijn for Raak glass globe floor lamp, The Netherlands 1950's

Adjustable floor lamp with brown glass globe. Franck Ligtelijn (1933-1996) became part of the design team at Raak in the early 1960s. He is the creator of the minimalist Globe 2000 Floor Lamp (1961). This can be named Raak’s most celebrated design. Franck Ligtelijn designed a series of Globe lamps, including pendants and desk lamps to complement the floor lamp.
