Up is a historical collection designed in 1969 by gaetano pesce for b&b italia. The structure of the chair and ottoman is made of soft polyurethane foam obtained by bayfit® cold molding. Equipped with an ottoman, ensures complete relaxation. The elastic fabric coating is not removable. The up5 armchair is characterized by an exceptional visual impact that has made it unique over time. Paired with an ottoman, up6 was conceived as a metaphor for the "woman with a ball on her foot" and it has become a real cult piece. The curved lines and volumes seem to be shaped around the body and bring back to the pop imagination, combining art and design.
