Other parts of the chair design are remarkable straight forward not fixing anything that was not in need of fixing... Either way, hans j. Wegner first showcased the ch30 chair in 1954 and the design is still very popular and fits with contemporary design. This ch30 is crafted in oak that has been tinted and features a padded seat we have re-upholstered in a mustard colour fabric by kvadrat tonica 2 no. 443. Kvadrat tonica 2 is a beautiful 100% woolen, very slightly mottled furniture fabric.
