Pierre Chapuis is famous for his theatre decorations; he creates watercolours of landscapes in Trouville, Deauville, which he exhibited at the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts as early as 1906, at the Salon d'Automne in 1907, and at the Salon des Indépendants, where he exhibited until his death.
