Antique decorative vase in glazed earthenware, attributed to the Fives-Lille pottery / Georges De Bruyn. Beautifully rounded and low shape, with a highly crafted silhouette: rounded base with marked vertical ribs, a narrow neck that then flares widely, and a double pierced handle on each side. The upper edge is wavy, with an asymmetrical opening that gives the piece a very sculptural movement. The relief decoration, in a barbotine / majolica style, is highlighted by a glossy glaze in deep shades of rosy brown, dark green, and blue-green. The dark drips accentuate the reliefs of the body and create a strong contrast with the cream interior. Its stylised design, curved lines, and graphic handles evoke an Art Deco style, with a strong decorative presence and a lot of character.
