4 Vintage Brutalist Wooden Chairs

Set of 4 vintage solid oak chairs, a beautiful example of European popular furniture (traditional rural furniture, to be distinguished from style furniture), probably European-made from the 60s–70s, in a rustic brutalist spirit. Very nice wood patina and entirely solid wood construction with mortise and tenon joints (pegged tenons, without visible screws) — characteristic of rural craftsmanship of the time. Sturdy, stable, and comfortable chairs — ideal for a dining table, farmhouse, or kitchen. Sober and sculptural design, easy to integrate into a contemporary, wabi-sabi, brutalist, modern country, or chic rustic interior. Overall good condition with slight signs of wear consistent with age. Sold only as a set of 4.
