Old Second Empire Crucifix in ebonized wood with holy water font - Late 19th century - French - Antique

Old napoleon III second empire style crucifix. The date of manufacture is estimated between 1860 and 1880. Height: 22.5 cm / width: 11.8 cm the cross is made of ebonized wood which has been cleaned, nourished and polished with beeswax. The body of christ, the stoup and the inri plaque are in silver regula and have been deoxidized and polished with wool felt and miror. This beautiful religious object, over 150 years old, has beautiful traces of a genuine patina which make it even more desirable. The items I sell are second-hand, old, vintage.
