Reissue of an iconic lamp, this applique is appreciated by design enthusiasts. Originally intended for the world of offices and laboratories, it received numerous awards. Its specificity lies in its telescopic arm and steerable shade and adjustable height along the wall support. This applicator will easily find its place at the head of the bed, in a reader next to the sofa in the living room, or above a desk. The gras lamps come from a range created in 1921 for architects and design firms. Bernard-albin gras was one of the first lighting designers of the 20th century and innovated in the functionality of the object to which he added an aesthetic hitherto little worked at the level of the design of the rods. One of his most illustrious clients and patrons will be le corbusier, who sees these lamps as a tool object that guarantees a singular functionality: a typical object that he integrates into his architectural firm and then to most of his projects. Robert mallet-stevens, eileen gray, georges braque and matisse will make the lamp gras into the legend. Colors: matte black body / matte black shade interior white.
