Magnificent set of 6 antique flat plates in Terre de Fer earthenware, from the prestigious Longwy factory, model "Talma". This iconic service from the late 19th century is distinguished by its elegant Empire-style decoration finely screen-printed in English green / warm green transfer. * Manufacturer: Longwy (France) * Model: Talma. * Period: Circa 1880–1900 (Late 19th century) * Material: Fine earthenware, Terre de Fer (Ironstone) * Colour: Ivory with green printed patterns. * Stamp: Presence of the authenticity stamp "Talma Longwy" crowned on the back of each plate, as well as engraved numbers in the mass. Condition: Overall beautiful vintage condition for their great age. The earthenware retains a superb shine. There is an authentic patina of time with slight amber / yellowish discolourations located on the back and edges, characteristic of old ironstone and which add to the charm of antique tableware.
