Set of four Italian wall sconces in thick iridescent glass, from Murano, attributed to Carlo Nason for A.V. Mazzega, produced in the 1960s/70s. Each sconce consists of a transparent geometric glass element enveloping a central part with opaline blue hues. Depending on the angle and temperature of the light, the glass displays blue, lilac, opalescent, and slightly golden reflections. The wall support is made of white painted metal, hidden behind the glass. The four sconces are of the same model and form a cohesive set. They can be installed individually or arranged in a series. Dimensions of each sconce: Height: 38 cm Width: 18 cm Depth: 14 cm. Signs of use consistent with age. Variations, irregularities, and material effects of the glass are visible in the photographs.
