Vintage ispahan carpet woven by hand 150x100cm. A rare and unusual carpet woven by hand in silk and lamb's wool, quite atypical of this famous carpet-producing region in iran. It may date from the middle of the 20th century but is in very good condition in relation to its age. Isfahan is a city of great beauty with its ancient architecture and fabulous history that have made it famous for the high quality of its carpets woven from silk and lamb's wool.
