This captivating set of eight teak dining chairs was designed in the 1960s by erik buch and produced at christian christensen’s møbelfabrik in denmark. Known as model 310, the chairs are a beautiful example of the danish mid-century modern era. Constructed of solid teak with a curved backrest and wide floating seat, the chairs feature new natural wool fabric upholstery in a light turquoise-blue color. The solid joinery and attention to detail are evident throughout, such as the tiny knobs on the sides of the backrest that conceal the screws securing the backrest. These details not only add to the aesthetic appeal but also demonstrate the mastery of craftsmanship through precise and thoughtful joinery. The elegant, soft, organic lines and the curvature of the teak backrest and frame perfectly support the human body, making them extremely comfortable dining chairs. These chairs would add style and class to any dining room, attracting attention with their appealing shape and the beautiful blend of teak and upholstery. Our team has taken special care to ensure a gentle restoration while maintaining the authenticity of this vintage set. The teak wood frames were cleaned and treated with protective oil to enhance the grain. All eight chairs are in excellent condition with wood cleaned and preserved with oil and new foams and upholstery. They are absolutely minimal normal signs of usage consistent with their age. Seat height: 46 cm.
