Old Wall Telephone with Rotary Black Bakelite PTT Sixties

Cool old wall telephone with rotary dial, made of black bakelite, by ptt in the 1960s, marked 62 on the inside, an early model with a cotton cord. You know, you usually come across them with the typical vinyl curled cord, but originally these devices had cords with a cotton outer sheath. These cords became worn relatively quickly through use and aging. That's why vinyl cords were used throughout the 1960s. The cotton cord of this telephone from the early 1960s is still in very good condition. In good used vintage condition, the turntable still turns very smoothly, a large chip along the edge and a crack on the side of the bakelite casing, check the photos for more details!
