Sim typewriter model novalevi 1930s - rare

Novalevi was one of several names with which italian sim typewriters were named in the 1930s. At this particular historical moment in italy and following the fascist rhetoric of the time, the same models were called with names different and incredible ones such as ardita, balilla, romana, sabaudia, mas, guidonia, augusta, astoria, littoria, patria and others... As for novalevi, I think (but i'm not sure) that he has something to do with a large italian distributor of the time, e.levi & c. Of milan. Sim machines were of poor quality at the time and those found today are generally in very poor condition, do not work and lack parts. The specimen I am offering you is beautifully preserved and in full operation. I installed a new ribbon in addition its transport case is also quite well preserved a strange fact about the year of production: following the serial number lists / year of production, this specimen should date back to 1933. But this is impossible due to the presence of the fascist sticker “prodotto in italia” which was only used for italian products from 1936. Finally, a curiosity: the color selector of the ribbon which usually in all typewriters are blue (or black) / white (neutral) / red, in this case is green / white / red, just like the italian flag.
