Papavero floor lamp designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos 1964

The lamp consists of an opaline glass diffuser, a brushed metal rod and a Carrara marble base. The diffuser is formed by a double blown cap which makes the shade soft and finished both outside and inside the cap. The design is minimalist but the quality of the materials and light make it a timeless classic. The condition of the floor lamp is very good apart from some slight chipping on the marble base, the flaws are highlighted in the photos but in reality are hardly visible, also because they are in the lower part of the base.
