Pair of solid wrought iron fire dogs with an antique black patina, featuring two stylised animals with arched necks and elongated horns/ears. Remarkable ironwork with sculptural lines, characteristic of the animal repertoire of Art Deco. Particularly meticulous execution, with applied details and riveted joints. Presumed French work, in the style of Édouard Schenck. Excellent condition.
