Set of 4 very nice fully restored chairs, made by "webe" walraven & bevers. It is a well-known fact that this factory had a link with the well-known designer louis van teeffelen. When you look at design, use of materials but above all the seating comfort, it is immediately clear that we are dealing with a design by his hand. The model is also found in a brochures from that time. It is known that chairs by his hand are organic in nature with sculptural elements, and have a phenomenal seating comfort, they are also very practical. There are few vintage chairs that sit as nicely as the various (well-known) models that louis van teeffelen designed, we even dare to say that if you randomly put 10 chairs in a row and put 1 design by louis van teeffelen in between, a layman immediately picks them out after a round of test sitting. This set comes directly from the first owners and has been completely checked by our craftsmen and restored to new condition, it is in a very nice condition. They are 4 chairs that have always been together and where you can easily sit for a whole dinner or games evening. The seats are also equipped with the very best new foam, very comfortable and not too thick, in order to maintain the original look. A first-class upholstery fabric in the colour green was chosen.
