PK33 stools by Poul Kjaerholm, E. Kold Christensen

Pair of Poul Kjaerholm PK33 stools, first edition. Kold Christensen, circa 1950, Denmark. The camel-colored leather cushions have been reupholstered with premium leather, as the originals were completely torn. The original carded wool padding and ecru linen upholstery have been retained. This finish is a characteristic of the first editions, which are not made of foam and therefore offer significantly superior seating comfort. The legs are brushed steel and show no signs of rust. Very good overall condition.
