French cherry wood table, circa 19th century

19th century French round table, crafted from solid cherry wood. The round top is constructed from several wide planks and rests on a simple base with four slightly tapered legs. This table has a simple, rustic design characteristic of French provincial furniture from this period. The cherry wood has a warm reddish-brown colour and displays a natural patina with visible signs of wear, old damage and wood joints. Thanks to its compact size, the table can be used both as a small dining table and as a centrepiece.
