Jean fautrier (1898-1964) Ploughed landscape. Etching and aquatint in colors, dating from 1963. Good proof on imperial japan, numbered and signed in pencil. On this paper, only 10 copies were printed (here copy n°10). On sight: 67 X 50.5 cm. Perfectly framed. Jean fautrier, who is with jean dubuffet the most important representative of the current of informal art, following the critic michel tapié associated with tachism, then evolves towards abstract art. He is also a pioneer of the high dough technique. This work is also exhibited in another copy at the mah museum of art and history, city of geneva.
