Lamp in chrome metal and Brazilian amethyst, circa 1970

Important lamp formed of an oval-shaped brazilian amethyst, with a cruciform frame in brushed metal, resting on a chrome-plated metal structure: a wide blade is fixed by two buttons to a large blackened exotic wood base of rectangular shape carved out of a dark groove of chrome-plated metal; a chrome rod of square section fixed to the back forms an elbow to accommodate the socket. Around 1970. A rectangular section lampshade made of silver material, decorated with a border taking the color of amethyst was recreated, in the spirit of the 1970s, and electrification redone by a professional.
