Set of 12 spoons in 800 Solid Silver Goldsmith Buttner Alsace 19th century 120gr

This magnificent set of 12 antique coffee or dessert spoons is made of solid silver, hallmarked 800. These spoons have an elegant shape with the pointed spoon, typical of 18th and 19th century cutlery. They were created by the buttner goldsmith house and bear the master's mark "b". This renowned house was based in strasbourg from 1700 to 1907. They bear the 800 hallmark for german silver (strasbourg was annexed by germany on several occasions). In good general condition, they measure 14 cm and weigh 120 gr. I note scratches from use and traces of oxidation.
