Description
The midwinter factory in england was one of the most innovative in the art of the table of the 1950s. For this, she knew to surround herself with renowned designers and ceramicists, among whom dorothy jessie tait. Her beautiful pieces are now collected around the world and we are very happy to have found a rare hand-painted cheese platter designed by the talented ceramicist. It is part of the flower mist series, which represents a simple and neat floral pattern reminiscent of the stylized organic patterns that lucienne day created for her textiles. It is in very good condition except for a small chip under the tray. It's a beautiful piece.
