Description
Pretty louis XIII style gateleg table in solid oak dating from the end of the 19th century. Appearing for the first time in england in the 16th century, this type of table is composed of a fixed top and two hinged flaps which, when not in use, fold under the top to be suspended vertically in order to free up space. This model has a very elegant spiral-turned base. The modularity of this table will allow you to use it open either as a server, a table for two-to-one lunches, a pedestal table or a tea table. Folded, it can be used as a console or end table. The furniture is stable, in very good condition, the assemblies are precise and the whole thing unfolds easily. The tray measures 92 cm long and 61 cm wide. The height is 72.5 cm. Once folded, it takes up very little space: 61 cm long by 33 cm wide.
