Bistro chair Japy Frères

Old bistro chair but originally office with a gondola back with flat bars and a lamella seat. Stamp under the seat japy frères & cie. The family business, active since the eighteenth century, around 1900 manufactured typewriters that it sold associated with bentwood chairs made by baumann. Japy made these chairs for a while until baumann bought the business around 1939. The whole is in very good condition, stable and solid. The large curvature of the backrest make it a particularly comfortable chair high seat 45 cm.
