Stralux SZ 21 desk lamp, brown lacquer and chrome, 1970s.

Vintage desk lamp by Stralux, Swiss lighting manufacturer, model SZ 21, from the 1970s. A glossy chocolate brown lacquered metal shade with a cream interior slides up and down along a fine chrome rod and pivots on its chrome arm, allowing the light to be directed exactly where needed. The heavy round brown base ensures perfect stability. Original Stralux label inside the shade. A warm and graphic piece of 70s design for a desk, bedside table, or reading nook. In working condition, tested with a bulb. Vintage condition with visible signs of age: the shade's lacquer has fine scratches and small marks, the base has scratches and a few small paint chips, especially on its edge, and the chrome rod shows slight wear. The cream interior of the shade has some stains and dirt, and the label is slightly torn in one corner. Height: 46 cm Depth: 16 cm Length: 21 cm
