Jan Kath rug "Ferrara Stomped Reverse" 250 × 300 cm

Authentic Jan Kath rug, model Ferrara Stomped Reverse (Erased Heritage collection), hand-knotted. Original label present — Carpet No. 4200507 (see photos). Jan Kath is one of the most renowned rug designers in the world; this new model is priced around €12, 000. The rug features a stunning gradient from midnight blue to grey-ivory, with the characteristic "erased" pattern of the brand: this faded and patinated look is intentional in the design and adds to the charm of the piece. Sold as is. Defect disclosed transparently: a small burn of about 1 cm in the pattern (see close-up photo). The pile is slightly worn at this spot, but the hole does not go through the rug — the backing is intact. The defect is not very noticeable in use given the dimensions and can be repaired by a specialised restorer. The rug is otherwise healthy, dense, and in very good overall condition.
