Wall cladding earthenware with fleur-de-lis

Wall cladding ceramic is an ornamental art form found in many parts of the world. In portugal we talk about azulejo, a form of ceramic tiles painted with tin and glazed. In the maghreb we find tiles with repetitive, floral or geometric decoration. This work is composed of four earthenware squares that reproduce the same image. It represents a fleur-de-lis surrounded by rinses. The dominant colors, yellow and blue, make it possible to highlight this floral pattern. Slight gaps in the center. Size: Height: 25 cm.
