Vintage Italian large salad bowl in hand-painted ceramic with a house and palm trees.

We have an irresistible weakness for exuberant Mediterranean ceramics, especially those that seem to have experienced long lunches, clinking glasses, and at least one dramatic family dispute under the olive trees. This large vintage bowl is hand-painted with a charming little naive house nestled among swaying palm trees, framed by vibrant greens and bold cobalt blue brushstrokes. It exudes a delightfully sunny atmosphere, as if it has just come straight from a little coastal trattoria where no one is in a hurry to leave. Perfect for serving a generous salad, lemons, pasta, or simply to display on a shelf as the joyful piece of art it truly is. The hand-painted details and lively brushwork give it that slightly imperfect and irresistible character we always seek. The bowl is in very good vintage condition, with a slight crazing overall that only adds to its old-world charm. No chips, no cracks, just decades of character gathered in a wonderfully cheerful bowl. Dimensions: D 38.5 X H 10 cm. Materials and Techniques: Hand painted ceramics. Place of Origin: Italy.
