Green ceramic fish signed Lejan - Art Deco period (1930-39) Ceramic work of art made in France by the Saint Clément factory in Lunéville in the 1930s. This is the famous fish by Lejan, a ceramicist. It is signed in the mass. Green enameled ceramic sculpture glazed in the pure Art Deco style. Width: 40 cm - height: 30 cm - depth: 11.5 cm. Very good condition - slight chips (see photos) Lejan's sculptures are characterized by humor, kindness and imagination. A radical countermovement compared to the animal bronzes of the 19th century.
