Green ceramic fish signed Lejan - art deco period (1930-39) Ceramic work of art made in France by the Saint Clément factory in Lunéville in the 1930s. This is the famous fish from Lejan, ceramist. It is signed in the mass. Glazed green enameled ceramic sculpture in pure art deco style. Width: 40 cm - height: 30 cm - depth: 11.5 cm. Very good condition - slight chips (see photos) Lejan's sculptures are characterized by humor, kindness and imagination. A radical counter-movement compared to the animal bronzes of the 19th century.
