Solid wood aperitif/cocktail tray by Max Meder

Cocktail/Aperitif Tray with Three Removable Bowls, signed Max Meder Paris. The set is made of solid wood in a Brutalist style; the tray is rosewood, and the three bowls are a lighter wood. Max Meder (born in 1937) is a French sculptor and designer. He made his mark on the French art scene in the 1950s and 1960s with his organically shaped wooden sculptures and tableware. He worked in the circle of Alexandre Noll, with whom he exhibited in Paris.
