Danish home office shelving system in teak by Preben Sorensen for PS Systems, 1960s

The danish shelving system, ideal for home office, was designed by preben sorensen in the 60s. The set consists of two entirely modular sections. Each component is 80cm wide that can be arranged upon ones will. The height between each element can be adjusted using the regularly spaced slots. A large dresser with four drawers and six shelves provides functional storage space and helps to expose books and decorations. The wall unit also includes a compact desk with two drawers that will create a discreet place for work or a vanity table, depending on what's needed. This beautiful piece veneered in teak with solid wood rails and sculptural solid teak handles will enrich any bedroom or living area with a midcentury well-crafted danish design. 6 shelves 20 cm deep. 1 dresser with 4 drawers h: 51/ w: 80/ d: 45 cm; drawers height: 8 cm. 1 desk with two drawers h: / w: 80 / d: 45 cm; drawers height: 8 cm. 3 wooden rails 200 cm long. Brass hardware. The wall unit has been checked by our tem. We have made sure that all components fit together and all drawers work properly. The unit has been cleaned and refinished with layers of danish oil. We try to bring furniture back to its best look, still considering it is 60 years old.
