DSW side chairs by Charles & Ray Eames, Herman Miller edition

Set of 4 dsw side chairs designed by charles eames and made by herman miller in the late 50s/early 60s. Original fibreglass weave shells in the following -  rare seafoam green that has faded due to direct sunlight giving them a unique faded seafoam colour. Dimensions: Height 81cm. Depth 53cm. Width 47cm. Seat height 45cm. The contemporary version of this chair is made of polypropylene, which in our opinion, is not a patch on these original fibreglass models, which age beautifully. All with original herman miller stamp. Mounted on new, high quality walnut dowel bases (these chairs can alternatively be supplied on maple bases, if you would prefer). In very good overall condition, with just a couple of very small scuffs here and there to the edges of the shells, in keeping with their age, but nothing noticeable. A stunning set of chairs - a totally classic, very collectable set. The seats and bases will be dismantled for safer shipping but can be bought fully assembled if so desired - please let us know in this case and we will let you have a shipping quote.
