Quite large enamelled sandstone pot marked "fine salt" in ceramic of saint-uze. The ceramics of saint-uze is the current name of a type of ceramic that was produced in several villages of the drôme from the beginning of the nineteenth century and during the twentieth century, especially in the village of saint-uze (drôme) it is a type of porcelain stoneware, a fine, opaque, enamelled stoneware, called "fire porcelain". It is not a faience or an "iron earth". A fine sandstone is composed of kaolin and feldspar serving as a fondant for the formation of a vitreous phase. Impeccable condition.
