Terracotta vase made in the workshops of the German manufacturer Carsten Tonnieshoff. Space Age diabolo shape. Glazed in brown and decorated with black brush lines. The central frieze in relief is gilded with a matte and shiny effect. Enameled in light blue on the inside. Design created by Trude Carsten in the late 1950s. She invented this work on gold which gives relief to ceramics. Signature w. Germany for West Germany and mold number 1252 23 under the piece. It is thanks to this number that we can identify the vase as being a creation of the Carsten Tonnieshoff manufacturer. Very good condition, a small firing defect at the bottom of the vase (a small hole but the interior enamel of the vase is intact and allows it to remain waterproof), a small indentation at the bottom of the vase (see photos). Unique piece. Dimensions: height 23 cm, diameter of the opening 6.5 cm, diameter of the bottom 8 cm. Weight without packaging: 765 g. Recycled packaging.
