Gien Capucines Terre de fer deep plate

Beautiful old hollow plate in opaque ironstone porcelain from the gien factory. The stamp underneath allows it to be dated between 1886 and 1938. It is the capucines model which has a very fine and elegant blue floral decoration. It does not have any cracks but has many signs that testify to its hundred years: a chip on the edge, various marks on the front side (scratches, stains, fine cracks), as well as on the back side where the stains and colorations are even more present. It will obviously no longer be able to be used in the kitchen, due to its condition and to preserve it for a very long time, but it will be perfect to complete a collection or to decorate a wall in accumulation with other old plates. It measures 23.5 cm in diameter and 3.5 cm in depth.
