Fireplace mirror dating from the first half of the nineteenth century. The contours of the mirror are made of wood and gilded stucco, chiseled with different volutes. The ice is mercury, the back is parquet. It is in its juice, to note: the tain of the mirror is pricked in places, lack of stucco on the contours, traces of repainting. All the details and wear and tear are visible on the many photos to scroll! Its dimensions are ideal: 128 cm max height / 107 cm max width. The mirror is very heavy because the ice is mercury, it weighs about 25 kg. It will be superb in trumeau on a fireplace or simply placed on the ground on a beautiful old parquet floor!.
