Mannequin bust

Magnificent vintage bust, on a very beautiful tripod foot. It is stamped "girard-paris bust" size 38. It seems that it dates from the 1930s because there is very little chest. It has been completely restored because the bust was very stained and the foot damaged, it was covered with a magnificent dark green velvet fabric and all the wooden parts were painted and waxed "annie sloan paint" the signature "girard bust -paris" which was originally on the bottom of the bust has been transferred identically to the foot. Height at lowest: 156.5 cms. Width of the tripod alone: 48cms.
