Two abstract paintings, Denmark, end of 20th century

Acrylic on canvas. Diptych, a pair of square-format paintings (70x70 cm without frame) with a central composition. The palette combines warm neutrals with contrasting passages of desaturated blue and vivid red. These saturated accents establish the compositional focal points. The work can be dated to circa 1980s–early 2000s. It is an expressive gestural abstraction and reflects the postmodern decorative painting aesthetic trend popular in Denmark and Germany during that period. Each painting is signed by the author.
