Minimalist twin suspension from mid-century Germany by Bünte & Remmler, 1960s.

Rare twin pendant lamp by Bünte & Remmler (Bur). A minimalist design. The fixtures consist of two cylinders: a long, narrow chrome cylinder that holds a wider black shade as a parasol. The most distinctive detail of these Bur designs is the fine perforation of these parasols. It features a long rectangular support that breaks the light escaping and dissolves the shape of the shade when lit. Inside, the perforation is maintained with a type of parchment that serves as a diffuser. The two lights are mounted on a white aluminium rail.
